Linear Alkylbenzene Sulfonic Acid (LABSA)
Product Overview
Linear alkylbenzene sulfonic acid (LABSA) is an anionic surfactant and a fundamental ingredient in the detergent industry. It provides excellent detergency, wetting, dispersion, and emulsification. Neutralization with an alkali produces linear alkylbenzene sulfonate (LAS). With broad formulation compatibility and good cost-effectiveness, it is widely used in household and industrial cleaning products.
Product Features
Strong detergency, highly effective at removing grease and particulate soil. Good wetting, penetration, and dispersion, with abundant foam. Easily neutralized with caustic soda, soda ash, and other alkalis to produce LAS. Stable in blends with AOS, AES, nonionic surfactants, optical brighteners, and enzymes. Established raw material with a clear cost advantage for large-scale detergent production. Readily biodegradable and suitable for a broad range of household and personal care cleaning formulations.
